Thug who attacked his neighbours with a samurai sword is jailed but co-attacker remains at large

A thug who attacked his neighbours with a samurai sword during a drunken rampage has been jailed for more than two years but his co-attacker partner remains at large.

Dean Brown, 42, targeted Jennifer Robinson, 34, her ex-partner Lance Buchanan, 36, and another man after a row in Somerset in October last year.

Footage showed Mr Brown waving a long blade and a metal pole before he went on to brutally attack Ms Robinson and Mr Buchanan.

Ms Robinson, who was knocked out during the incident, described the ordeal as something ‘you would watch in a horror film’ and told a court she thought she would die.

Mr Brown was jailed for 25 months after pleading guilty to GBH, criminal damage and making threats with a blade.

But his partner Jodie Brown, 24, who was also involved in the attack, remains at large after failing to turn up for sentencing having pleaded guilty to GBH.
