A three-year-old boy was taken to the hospital after being hit by a mobility scooter while out with his grandmother.
According to authorities, the toddler was struck last Friday about 3 p.m. in Weston-super-Mare. He is likely to recover fully.
Police have initiated a search for the driver, who seems to have fled the site of the accident.
The suspect is described as a white man in his 60s with a big build and grey or silver hair.
