Three lorries and a light motor vehicle collided near the Peter Brown turnoff in Town Hill, KwaZulu Natal leaving a man seriously injured

Three lorries and a light motor vehicle crashed on the N3 highway near the Peter Brown turnoff in Town Hill, KwaZulu Natal, this evening, gravely injuring a man in his 40s.

When ER24 and other services arrived at 20h10, the highway was blocked by three trucks and a car. One of the trucks and trailers was clearly on fire.

Upon additional inspection, medics discovered a male approximately 60 metres distant from one of the trucks.

The man was examined and discovered to have many injuries, putting him in critical condition.

The man was treated and taken to a local hospital for emergency care.

Local authorities were on the scene to conduct additional investigations.
