Super Eagles of Nigeria crash out of AFCON 2021after losing 1 – 0 Tunisia

Nigeria’s Super Eagles were knocked out of the 2021 Africa Cup of Nations after losing to Tunisia 1 – 0 in the Round of 16.

Youssef Msakni scored a long-range goal to give the Eagles of Carthage the lead in the 47th minute.

Alex Iwobi was issued a red card in the 64th minute after the referee raised his yellow card to a red after a VAR Review for a harsh attack.

Before progressing to the round of 16, Nigeria recorded three straight victories against Egypt, Sudan, and Guinea Bissau in Group D.
