State Governors Rally Behind President Tinubu’s Policy Initiatives to End Fuel Subsidy and Alleviate Poverty

The governors, who were hosted by President Tinubu at the State House, commended his leadership, statesmanship, and inclusive approach.

They also pledged to collaborate with the President to mitigate the short-term impact of the subsidy removal.

AbdulRahman AbdulRazaq, the Chairman of the Nigerian Governors’ Forum (NGF) and Governor of Kwara State, thanked President Tinubu for the invitation to discuss poverty and security challenges.

He assured the President of the NGF’s commitment to working constitutionally and harmoniously with the Federal Government to achieve human development targets.

The governors presented suggestions to address the plight of citizens in their states and pledged their support through the National Economic Council.
