Starting April 4, Masks No Longer Required in Seattle Parks and Recreation facilities

On April 4, Seattle Parks and Recreation will no longer require masks to be worn in recreation facilities.

You can read more Public Health – Seattle King County’s website about the changes and recommendations about masking.

While masks will not be required after April 4, we encourage you to read the information provided by health officials and make the best decision for you and your family about whether to wear a mask in SPR facilities and programs.

We do ask that you stay home if you feel sick and keep social distancing. And if you do contract COVID-19 we will ask about your vaccination status to determine when it is safe for you to return to programming.

After April 4, masks will still be required when riding in a Seattle Parks and Recreation vehicle.

We appreciate the overwhelming compliance with all the COVID-19 safety protocols we’ve had in place for the last two years, and your patience and support of our team as we transition through each phase of the COVID-19 pandemic.

For questions or concerns about the vaccination verification policy, please reach out to Public Health – Seattle King County COVID-19 Call Center, 206-477-3977.
