Saqr Ghobash discusses cooperation with Speaker of Senegalese Parliament

Saqr Ghobash, Speaker of the Federal National Council (FNC), discussed, with Moustapha Niasse, Speaker of Senegal’s National Assembly, ways of enhancing the parliamentary cooperation between the two countries, by exchanging visits and reinforcing their coordination on issues of mutual concern.

The two sides also stressed the importance of boosting parliamentary cooperation and coordination and unifying their efforts on issues of mutual concern at regional and international parliamentary events, in addition to exchanging expertise and knowledge in parliamentary matters.

Ghobash lauded Senegal’s participation in Expo 2020 Dubai, which will promote cultural interaction and enable both sides to benefit from their sustainable solutions to common challenges.

Niasse highlighted the importance of the bilateral ties between the two friendly countries, and of enhancing their overall cooperation while commending the UAE’s positive stance on international issues and its efforts to achieve global stability.

He also wished that his visit would help strengthen the bilateral ties between the two countries.
