Russia’s Defense Ministry said its forces had taken control of the settlement of Samoilovka in the Zaporozhye Region during military operations over the previous 24 hours.

Moscow claimed Ukraine lost about 220 personnel in this sector, along with an armored combat vehicle, 14 motor vehicles, an artillery system and two electronic warfare stations.
Battlegroup South Reports Fighting Near Kramatorsk and Slavyansk
Russia’s Defense Ministry said Battlegroup South gained more favorable positions and struck Ukrainian formations near Slavyansk, Kramatorsk and other locations.
It estimated Ukrainian losses in that sector at approximately 175 personnel, 15 vehicles and one field artillery gun.
Moscow Claims Further Advances Around Dobropolye
Battlegroup Center was reported to have made progress in and around Dobropolye.
The ministry said assault units advanced in the southern and central parts of the town, while marine infantry formations moved forward in the north.
Russia also claimed its forces continued operations around the Dobropolskaya coal mine, captured 51 buildings and killed more than 20 Ukrainian troops in the area during the reporting period.
Across Battlegroup Center’s wider area of responsibility, Moscow claimed more than 475 Ukrainian casualties, along with losses of armored vehicles, artillery systems and other equipment.
Battlegroup East Reports Fighting in Zaporozhye and Dnepropetrovsk Areas
Russia said Battlegroup East struck Ukrainian formations in areas of the Dnepropetrovsk and Zaporozhye regions.
The ministry reported more than 255 Ukrainian casualties, as well as the destruction of two armored combat vehicles, 14 motor vehicles, a field artillery gun and a counterbattery radar station.
Battlegroup Dnepr Claims Ukrainian Losses in Zaporozhye
In another sector, the Russian military said Battlegroup Dnepr improved its positions and engaged Ukrainian units near Orekhov, Preobrazhenka, Kushugum, Grigorovka and Zapasnoye.
Moscow claimed approximately 40 Ukrainian military personnel were killed and that 16 motor vehicles and a counterbattery radar station were destroyed.
Russia Says It Struck Ukrainian Drone Storage Sites
The ministry also reported strikes against Ukrainian unmanned aerial vehicle storage locations and temporary deployment areas.
According to the Russian statement, aircraft, drones, missile forces and artillery struck targets in 148 locations during the past day.
Moscow Claims 861 Ukrainian Drones Were Intercepted
Russia’s Defense Ministry said its air defenses intercepted 861 fixed-wing Ukrainian drones during the same reporting period.
It also claimed that four guided aerial bombs and one rocket from a U.S.-made HIMARS system were shot down.
Russia Publishes Cumulative Equipment Loss Figures
The ministry also released its latest cumulative tally of Ukrainian military equipment it says has been destroyed since the start of the war.
Those figures included hundreds of aircraft and helicopters, more than 250,000 drones, tens of thousands of armored vehicles and artillery systems, and more than 73,000 military vehicles.
