Royal AM ropes in former Marumo Gallants mentor Dan Malesela as their new co-coach

Dan Malesela, a former Marumo Gallants coach, has joined Royal AM as their new co-coach to work with Khabo Zondo.

At a press conference held by Royal AM on Friday, when the owner Shauwn ‘MaMkhize’ Mkhize announced that she had made the decision to alter the technical team structure, Malesela was unveiled.

Following John Maduka’s unexpected transfer to Maritzburg United after leading them to a third-place finish, there have been changes.

On the same day, Philani Cele, Shane Roberts, and Lesvin Stoffels were named as three of the players that Royal AM had signed.

Despite speculations linking the duo to Royal AM, there was no trace of former Orlando Pirates captain Happy Jele or Luvuyo Memela.

However, considering that Wayde Lekay has spent the last several days working out with Royal AM, the former TS Galaxy striker is anticipated to receive a contract offer.

Lekay recently left Kaizer Chiefs, who obviously did not believe he was the best choice to direct their attack in the next season.
