Real Admiral Emmanuel Ogalla has been appointed as the new Chief of Naval Staff by President Bola Tinubu.
He officially took over the position from his predecessor, Admiral Awwal Gambo, during a handing-over ceremony held at the Naval Headquarters in Abuja.
