RAK ruler mourns passing of Sheikh Khalifa

H.H. Sheikh Saud bin Saqr Al Qasimi, Supreme Council Member and Ruler of Ras Al Khaimah, said that the UAE has lost, with the passing of the late His Highness Sheikh Khalifa bin Zayed Al Nahyan, a leader of a great national and humanitarian stature at the national, regional and global levels.

“Deep feelings of sorrow are prevailing today on the UAE on the loss of a leader who played a great role spearheading the drive of empowerment in the country, enabling the people of the Emirates to actively contribute to its renaissance and development,” Sheikh Saud said.

He offered his sincere condolences to His Highness Sheikh Mohamed bin Zayed Al Nahyan, Ruler of Abu Dhabi, and the honorable Al Nahyan Family, praying to God Almighty to inspire them with patience and solace.
