Quadri sweeps into the WTTP quarter-finals (VIDEO)

Nigeria’s Aruna Quadri is in the form of his life as he swept past China’s Liang Jingkun 3-1 at the WTTP Finals holding in Singapore.

The 33-year old Nigerian took Jingkun apart 11-1, 11-5, 7-11 and 14-12 to improve his chances of even finishing higher on the ITTF World rankings.

His latest victory comes a week after becoming the first African to reach the quarter-finals of the ITTF World championship held in USA.

Quadri also lept in the ITTF rankings to number 13 in the world.
