David Bingham, a self-proclaimed fan of Wetherspoon pubs, has successfully achieved his goal of visiting every single one of the 875 establishments.

Over the course of four years, the 60-year-old embarked on what he describes as the “longest pub crawl in history,” traveling extensive distances each month to enjoy the unique atmosphere of each pub.

David’s dedication to this mission resulted in a significant expenditure, with his final bar tab amounting to approximately £30,000.

This sum encompasses travel fares, drinks, and overnight stays.

Marking the completion of his remarkable challenge, David celebrated at the Flying Horse pub located at Gatwick Airport, indulging in a couple of pints of his preferred Heineken lager.

To gain access, David had to purchase an airline ticket to Shannon, Ireland, before being granted entry.

Although the visit to Shannon itself did not feature a Wetherspoon pub, David found the experience worthwhile.

Despite the absence of restroom facilities due to the airport setting, the bustling atmosphere and the presence of excited travelers created an energetic ambiance.

Reflecting on his extraordinary journey, David expressed his satisfaction with the experience, stating that he enjoyed checking off each pub from his list and admitting that he would love to undertake a similar endeavor in the future.
