PSL: Akpeyi Wraps Up 2021 With Clean Sheet As Chiefs Beat Maritzburg

Super Eagles goalkeeper, Daniel Akpeyi kept his fifth clean sheet of the season in the DSTV Premier League as Kaizer Chiefs defeated Maritzburg FC 2-0 on Wednesday.

Khama Billiat and N Ngcobo gave the Glamour Boys all maximum points that moved them to third on the log despite having two outstanding fixtures.

In what was his 12th start of the Season, the former Chippa United shot stopper made five saves to ensure that the Amakhosi would wrap up their duties for the year with a convincing win.

Up next in the league for the Stuart Baxter tutored side in the League is a trip to Cape Town City on February 15, 2022.
