President Bola Tinubu is expected to arrive back in Nigeria today after his visit to London.
He had traveled to the UK from France, where he attended a summit on “A New Global Financing Pact” hosted by French President Emmanuel Macron.
Private Visit and Eid-el-Kabir Festival
Initially scheduled to return to Abuja on Saturday, a statement signed by the President’s Special Adviser on Special Duties, Communication, and Strategy, Dele Alake, stated that Tinubu would instead proceed to London for a short private visit.
The statement did not specify the exact day of his return but assured that the President would be back in the country in time for the upcoming Eid-el-Kabir festival.
Return to Private Residence in Lagos
According to Presidency sources, President Tinubu will return to his private residence in Ikoyi, Lagos, on Tuesday.
This will mark his first Sallah celebration as President, as he plans to observe the festive occasion in Lagos rather than in Abuja.
