Beyond his academic credentials, he is recognised for his expertise in corporate governance and his deep understanding of South Africa’s evolving energy industry, qualities the board believes will be instrumental in guiding the CEF Group’s future.
Focus on Strengthening National Energy Security
The CEF Board described the appointment as a significant milestone for the organisation as it seeks to reinforce its role in supporting South Africa’s energy security and economic growth.
Under Dr Mokoka’s leadership, the group aims to continue delivering reliable energy solutions while adapting to changing industry demands through innovation, operational efficiency and stronger strategic partnerships.
The organisation said these priorities remain central to its mission of helping power the country’s development.
