Tory Lanez’s Bodyguard Affirms Attempt to Stop Shooting Incident

New information in the Megan Thee Stallion shooting case has emerged from Tory Lanez’s bodyguard in a sworn affidavit. The bodyguard detailed an attempt by Lanez to disarm Kelsey Harris, Megan’s then-best friend, during the night of the alleged shooting.

Lanez’s defense attorneys have presented their closing statements but are expected to conclude them by December 22, followed by the jury’s deliberation.

The prosecution, during their counter, emphasized the authenticity of Megan’s testimony, stating she had no reason to lie about the shooter’s identity. Additionally, they highlighted Megan’s tumultuous life and her statement expressing a wish for death during her recent court appearance.

These revelations were documented in an affidavit filed in the Court of Appeal of the State of California. The bodyguard, Jaquan Smith, who was present on the night of the incident, highlighted Kelsey Harris’s possession of a gun in his statement on December 5th, 2020.
