Perez Medcare Hospital Clarifies Circumstances of Mohbad’s Death

Perez Medcare Hospital, where the late singer Ilerioluwa Aloba, known as Mohbad, was reportedly taken before his demise, has issued a statement regarding his passing.

The hospital clarified that Mohbad was brought to their facility already deceased and did not pass away within their premises, refuting circulating rumors.

In their statement posted on Instagram, the hospital also debunked allegations that the singer had been admitted to their facility.

According to the hospital’s account, Mr. Ilerioluwa Oladimeji Aloba, popularly known as Mohbad, was brought to their medical facility around 4:30 pm on September 12, 2023, in a lifeless state.

Upon assessment, it was determined that there were no signs of life, including no central or peripheral pulse, no heartbeat, no recordable vital signs, and fixed and dilated pupils.

Efforts were made to perform CPR (Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation), but rigour mortis, which indicates the stiffening of certain body parts after death, was observed.

The individuals who brought him to the hospital were informed that it was a case of “Brought in dead” (BID). When inquired about the circumstances leading to the emergency, it was revealed that the deceased had been receiving treatment at home from a nurse who administered injections.

The hospital’s medical team advised that the body should be taken to the nearest Government Hospital for placement in the morgue. Perez Medcare Hospital emphasized that Mr. Ilerioluwa Oladimeji Aloba (Mohbad) was never a patient at their facility and was never admitted to the hospital at any point in time.

Additionally, they clarified that the nurse who administered treatment at his home was not a staff member of Perez Medcare Hospital. The circulating video in the media showing the late Mohbad receiving treatment is not associated with Perez Medcare Hospital.

This statement aims to address the misinformation surrounding the circumstances of Mohbad’s passing and the alleged connection to Perez Medcare Hospital.
