Pauline Hanson called a Greens senator ‘p*** off to Pakistan’

Because Pauline Hanson refused to take down a tweet telling Greens senator Mehreen Faruqi to “p*** off back to Pakistan,” she was referred to as a “scumbag” in the Senate.

On Tuesday, fellow Greens senator Jordon Steele-John yelled at the head of One Nation, “you scumbag,” from across the Senate chamber.

Ms. Hanson refused to apologize during a contentious discussion after Ms. Faruqi had tweeted on the day of the Queen’s passing that she was “a leader of a racist empire.”

To those who knew the Queen, my condolences. I am unable to mourn the head of a racist empire established on the riches, land, and lives that were taken from colonized peoples, Ms. Faruqi said in a post.
