Osun Midfielder Bolaji Olamide Targets Flying Officers Cup Glory

After her team advanced to the Semi-finals on Monday afternoon, Osun Babes midfielder Bolaji Olamide told the Flying Officers Cup Media that her only goal is to win the Pre-season Championship.

Bolaji, who was named ‘Player of the Match’ for her outstanding effort in their 2-0 win over Royal Queens, said she is looking forward to her team reaching the finals and winning the championship.

“Our game versus Royal Queens was a challenging one; we had numerous chances but failed to capitalize on them.” At one point, they were all over us, putting pressure on us and attempting to score. I’m glad I was able to assist my team in reaching the semi-finals, and perhaps we’ll be able to advance to the finals.

“I am hopeful and with the squad we have, we can go all the way to do something special. I am optimistic, so is my teammates and everyone in the team.

Osun Babes are participating at their first Flying Officers Cup Pre-season Championship and would be playing their Semi-final game on Friday.

The team won their first game against Prince Kazeem Eletu Queens by 2-1, played a 1-1 draw against FC Robo Queens and their last group game against Bayelsa Queens ended goalless.Tobex Media
