The Buccaneers head into this tough encounter with almost every South African behind them as they will be playing their fourth continental final.
In 1995, Pirates played in the CAF Champions League final and won it while they miss out on the 2013 edition before losing their maiden CAF Confederation Cup final in 2015.
As The South African website reported this week, there are only two survivors from the previous CAF Confederation Cup final, and those are Happy Jele and Ntsikelelo Nyauza.
Of course, Siyabonga Mpontshane was also part of that Pirates team but he couldn’t take part during that campaign as he wasn’t registered.

According to Pirates, this CAF Confederation Cup final will be screened LIVE on SuperSport PSL channel 202 at 21:00.
The encounter between Pirates and Berkane will also be available on a number of SABC TV platforms, including DTT, Open View 124 and SABC 1.
The South African website will run a live blog to ensure that you don’t miss any action from this historic CAF Confederation Cup final for Pirates.
