Orlando Pirates and Kaizer Chiefs are looking to bolster their squads with a key focus on the striker department – with the Bucs leading the way for this man!
Pirates, Chiefs and AmaZulu have all expressed interest in the services of striker Eva Nga.
However, it is the Bucs who have edged ahead of Amakhosi in the pursuit of his signature, according to SoccerLaduma. The Cameroonian forward would be the perfect replacement for Gabadinho Mhango.
The Bucs are in desperate need of a prolific striker. Someone can consistently rack up double figures every season, this is a key difference between the Soweto giants and Mamelodi Sundowns at the moment.
The Brazilians have Peter Shalulile who is always right up their contesting for the PSL Golden Boot. This season he has 22 goals and he is always well into double figures. An area that Chiefs and Pirates have been lacking for several seasons.
This is something the Bucs are trying to address with Nga.
While Amakhosi currently have their eyes set on this top PSL striker.
Imagine Nga alongside the likes of Kwame Peprah and Deon Hotto.
This could see Pirates have a front three as dangerous as Sundowns or Amakhosi and bring them back to their golden age.
Nga racked up a imposing 10 goals in this year’s DStv Premiership for Chippa United. Around a higher quality squad such as the Bucs, he could score even more.
Would you like to see Nga at Pirates next year?
