Operation Hadin Kai Eliminates Six ISWAP Terrorists in Borno State Ambush

…By Jack Sylva for TDPel Media. During a recent operation in the Banki area of Borno State, at least six members of the Islamic State West Africa Province (ISWAP) were reportedly killed by troops from Operation Hadin Kai (OPHK).

The operation, conducted in collaboration with the Civilian Joint Task Force, took place on June 22, 2023, in an ambush near Bula Yobe and Darajamal road in Bama Local Government Area.

Terrorists Identified as IED Planters:

Security expert Zagazola Makama confirmed the incident, stating that the slain terrorists were known as Improvised Explosive Device (IED) planters.

These individuals would often sneak onto the road to carry out attacks on innocent people.

Terrorists Attack Jangebe Community, Killing Doctor and Abducting Residents:

In a separate incident, armed terrorists attacked the Jangebe community in Talata Mafara Local Government Area of Zamfara State.

During the attack, which occurred approximately a week ago, the terrorists killed a medical doctor and abducted several individuals, including members of the doctor’s family.

Details of the Attack:

The heavily armed assailants stormed the community around 1 am, firing indiscriminately.

Reports indicate that they forcefully entered the doctor’s house by breaking the wall.

Once inside, they shot and killed the doctor, taking away his family members and other residents from the neighborhood.

Additionally, a military vehicle was set ablaze near the victim’s residence.

Community in Mourning Over Doctor’s Killing:

The loss of the medical doctor has left the entire community in mourning, as he was known for his assistance and dedication to their well-being.

Residents recall hearing a heated argument among the armed men following the doctor’s killing, with one voice scolding those responsible for the act.
