OGUN GOVERNMENT OFFICIALS VISIT TANKER EXPLOSION SCENE AT OGERE.

Ogun State government officials led by the Deputy governor, Engineer Noimot Salako- Oyedele have visited the scene of the tanker explosion which occurred in the early hours of this Wednesday at Ogere section of the Lagos/Ibadan Expressway for an on- the-spot assessment.

The team included the SSG, Mr Tokunbo Talabi, the commissioner for Transport, Engineer Gbenga Dairo and his counterpart in the information ministry,Alhaji Waheed Odusile.

Addressing the people of the area,the Deputy governor, Engineer Noimot Salako- Oyedele condoled the families of the five persons who lost their lives in the fire incident.

She urged members of the public, especially motorists to cooperate with the security and traffic agents by obeying the temporary traffic diversions on the axis till normalcy returns.

Officers of the Nigeria Police, FRSC,TRACE and Fire Service were on groumd to bring the situation under control.
