Some Nigerian celebrities and Nollywood Stars have called for justice for Sylvester Oromoni, a young student of Dowen Academy who was allegedly abused in school and died in hospital while receiving treatment for injuries sustined.
Sylvester was reportedly attacked by three senior students of the school, in an alleged bullying spree.
He was admitted to a Lagos hospital on Friday, November 26, 2021, following the attack and confirmed dead on Tuesday.
However, the school said Sylvester suffered injuries during a football match.
In the wake of this event, celebrities including; Actress, Mercy Johnson, Tonto Dikeh, Caroline Danjuma, Lepacious Bose and a host of others have called on relevant authorities to investigate the matter and bring culprits to book.

”I could not bring myself to post the video, I haven’t even been able to watch it twice.
I can’t imagine the pain this child felt, I cannot imagine.
Sylvester’s life cannot be in vain, he cannot go like that,”she said on Instagram.
Actress, Tonto Dikeh said she was gathering details and preparing to meet the school authorities.
She also wished the deceased a posthumous happy birthday.

Lepacious Bose urged her followers to tag the school and all relevant authorities to demand justice for Sylvester.
The school has since been shut down by the Lagos State government indefinitely, until investigations are concluded.
