The actress recently used social media to express her dissatisfaction with the tax bill she received from the government, prompting a backlash.

Iyabo Ojo received a notice from the Lagos State Government stating that she owes a tax debt of N7,376,000.00 for the year 2022, along with an outstanding responsibility of N11,264,092 for the income year 2021.

In response, she took to her Instagram page to express her outrage, criticizing the government for imposing such a high amount.

Complaints Ignored:

The actress revealed that she had previously raised concerns about the tax issue but received no resolution.

Frustrated with the lack of action, she boldly stated that if she is not making any payments, the government is free to resort to extreme measures such as imprisonment or arrest.

Following the criticism, Iyabo Ojo posted another tweet declaring that she would not bow down to any tribal bigots.

While she deleted her initial social media post criticizing Governor Sanwo-Olu, she reiterated her support for Peter Obi and emphasized her determination to fearlessly speak up for a better Nigeria.
