Nigerian media personality Chinedu Ani Emmanuel, widely known as Nedu, has faced severe criticism on social media following a controversial comment he made about popular Nigerian singer Tiwa Savage.
In his recent podcast episode titled ‘The Honest Brunch,’ Nedu expressed his thoughts on sexual relationships between younger and older individuals.
During the podcast, the contentious On-Air Personality (OAP) stated that if given the opportunity, he would engage in oral sex with Tiwa Savage, emphasizing that women in their 40s are particularly fabulous.
Nedu further suggested that the intimate experience with women in their 40s is more pleasurable compared to younger women.
He said, “My brother, if you’re avoiding older ladies, my brother, don’t.
They say older ladies are sweeter.
I will lick Tiwa Savage’s plate.
Haven’t you seen ladies who are 40 and fabulous? Ladies who are in their 40s, that’s when their private parts are sweet.
Women above 40 years old are the sweetest in bed.”
However, this statement received significant backlash from numerous social media users who found it unacceptable and disrespectful.
One user, sanyaolufumilayo, commented, “This is nonsense.
Are these people normal like this?”
Another user, iyabosola_modupe, wrote, “Respect, please! Talking about our own precious queen like that?”
wunmiomotoshoo expressed, “This is so rude in ways, sha.”
sabina_wilson expressed frustration, stating, “Some of you guys doing podcasts are really spoiling this thing for the intelligent podcasters, sha. Smh… Well, it’s obvious they do this for views and engagement, but it’s very disgusting.”
mz_chibugo criticized the podcast, stating, “The disrespect on this podcast is so much.
Like, how do grown people sit with their mics to analyze women’s private parts when there are better things to talk about?”
gracie expressed their disappointment, stating, “A man that talks too much and recklessly will forever be a turn-off. That’s just a sign that a lot of things would be off.
Podcast or not, some things are better left unsaid.”
osassoficial voiced their disapproval, saying, “These are full-grown adults sitting down to gossip and talk about people’s clitoris in the name of the podcast.”
The comments made by Nedu have sparked outrage and a wave of criticism, as social media users condemn the inappropriate nature of his remarks.
