Noble Park killing investigated by police

Detectives from the homicide squad are looking into a man’s death that occurred in southeast Melbourne.

According to Victoria Police, emergency personnel were summoned to Lesley Grove in Noble Park around 1.10 am on Monday after hearing claims of an attack.

They discovered a guy who had severe wounds.

He was saved by paramedics, but he passed away there and then.

Police are receiving assistance from two men in their investigations: a 24-year-old male from Officer in southeast Melbourne and a 30-year-old man with no permanent residence.

Police have not yet released the man’s identity, but they are asking anybody with information to call Crime Stoppers.
