NICD reports 1 980 new COVID-19 cases in South Africa

South Africa has reported 1 980 new cases of COVID-19 in the last 24 hours period.

This brings the total positive cases detected in the country to 3 698 803.

Three people have died from COVID-19 related complications in the same period, with the total number of deaths now standing at 99 767.
