David A. Arnold, a comedian and Netflix star, has died at the age of 54, according to his family.

In a statement to the Los Angeles Times, his family wrote, ‘It is with tremendous grief that we confirm the unexpected death of our husband, father, brother, and friend, David A. Arnold.
Today, David died away quietly in his home, and the cause of death has been determined to be natural causes.
Please keep our family in your prayers and respect our privacy as we are all surprised and grieved by this loss.
In a letter to the Los Angeles Times, his family said, “It is with tremendous sadness that we confirm the unexpected death of our husband, father, brother, and friend, David A. Arnold.” It Ain’t For The Weak” is depicted on Netflix.
Arnold was married to Julie L. Harkness, seen together, with whom he had two children, Anna-Grace and Ashlyn.

David penned, “I will never forget the day my eldest picked between my wife and me who she was going to send to the nursing home.”
It resulted in heartfelt messages from friends and supporters.
His social media accounts and website have not yet acknowledged his passing.
The comedian and author debuted at the Montreal Comedy Festival and performed on Jamie Foxx’s Laffapalooza.
Throughout his career, David has released two stand-up specials on Netflix. David A. Arnold: Fat Ballerina was published in 2019 and It Ain’t For The Weak was published in July of this year.
He was also the showrunner and executive producer for That Girl Lay Lay, which he created.
He also worked as a writer and producer on Meet The Browns and Tyler Perry’s House of Payne in addition to working on the Fuller House remake.

Since his family revealed his death, there has been a flood of online condolences for David (pictured).
Friends, other comedians, and those with whom David has collaborated have given him online tributes.
TV writer and producer Bryan Behar wrote: “Devastated to learn of David A. Arnold’s demise. He was a valued part of our Fuller House writing staff, one of the best comedians I’ve ever seen, and a beautiful man in general.
David was at last reaping the benefits of decades of labor. His memory shall be a benefit.

The comedian and writer depicted began his career at the Montreal Comedy Festival and on Jamie Foxx’s Laffapalooza.
Friends, other comedians, and those with whom David has collaborated have given him online tributes.
The comedian and actor Bobby Lee, a close friend, stated, “I’ve known you for twenty years. A phenomenal human and comedian. Heartbroken @DavidAArnold.’
Also paying homage to David was comedian Loni Love, who wrote: ‘My brother is gone… thank you for the laughter, the encouragement, and the inspiration.. my love and prayers to his wonderful wife Julie and his beautiful girls… we are all heartbroken.’



And actress Yvette Nicole Brown commented, ‘One of Cleveland’s greatest has left the stage much too soon. 54 is quite young. #RIP. It does not seem real.
