Nazi-Inspired Terrorist Callum Parslow Found Guilty of Attempted Murder After Stabbing Asylum Seeker Nahom Hagos at Worcestershire Hotel

A recent case in Worcestershire has shed light on the dangers posed by extremist ideologies.

A man consumed by Nazi beliefs has been convicted of attempted murder after he violently attacked an asylum seeker.

Callum Parslow, a 32-year-old white supremacist, used a specialist knife he purchased online to stab 25-year-old Nahom Hagos at the Pear Tree Inn in Hindlip, an act he described as a protest against small boat crossings.

Details of the Attack

During a three-week trial at Leicester Crown Court, it emerged that Parslow made the four-and-a-half-mile journey to the hotel on April 2 with the intention of harming a migrant.

He stabbed Hagos in the chest and hand while the victim was simply enjoying a meal in a conservatory.

Before his arrest, Parslow attempted to post a “terrorist manifesto” on social media, claiming he was fulfilling his duty to England by “exterminating” his victim.

The court revealed that he had Adolf Hitler’s signature tattooed on his arm, a chilling reminder of his extremist views.

The Victim’s Experience

Nahom Hagos, who originally hails from Eritrea, recalled the moment of the attack with disbelief, expressing his gratitude for surviving the ordeal.

He described it as a miracle, stating, “God saved me.”

At the time of the stabbing, the Pear Tree Inn was mostly closed for renovations and was housing asylum seekers.

Hagos had previously stayed there and returned to visit a friend, and prior to the attack, he even helped Parslow by giving him directions to the bathroom.

Legal Proceedings and Sentencing

As the trial unfolded, prosecutor Tom Storey KC outlined the premeditated nature of the attack.

He emphasized that Parslow’s actions were driven by an extreme right-wing ideology that led him to target Hagos specifically based on his ethnicity.

Alongside his attempted murder charge, Parslow faced additional charges, including a sexual offense, to which he pleaded guilty.

Parslow has been remanded in custody and is set to be sentenced by Mr. Justice Dove at Woolwich Crown Court on January 17.

This case serves as a stark reminder of the violence that can arise from hate and prejudice in society.
