NATO Secretary General meets with the Prime Minister of Georgia

On Wednesday (18 May 2022) NATO Secretary General Jens Stoltenberg met with the Prime Minister of Georgia Irakli Garibashvili for a bilateral meeting. They discussed Russia’s war on Ukraine and its regional implications.

The Secretary General stressed that Georgia is one of NATO’s closest partners, and that all Allies strongly support Georgia’s sovereignty and territorial integrity. He also welcomed Georgia’s Euro-Atlantic aspirations and highlighted NATO’s continued political and practical support for Georgia.
