Nyesom Wike, the Culinary Minister
Nyesom Wike, Nigeria’s Federal Capital Minister, has once again captured social media’s attention with his culinary skills.
In a recent video, he was seen cooking for former Senate President Bukola Saraki and others in his kitchen.
This isn’t the first time he has showcased his cooking abilities, having previously cooked for Femi Gbajabiamila, the Chief of Staff to President Tinubu, and a group of onlookers.

The latest video of Minister Wike preparing food in his own kitchen has prompted a range of reactions from Nigerians on social media.
Some have commended his cooking prowess, while others have called for him to focus more on his ministerial duties rather than showcasing his culinary talents.
FS Yusuf humorously commented, “Na restaurant Wike come open for Abuja?? Man loves cooking.” It seems Wike’s culinary skills have turned him into a social media sensation.

Wike Orders Demolition of Scavengers’ Colony
In other news, Minister Nyesom Wike ordered the demolition of a scavengers’ colony along a road corridor encompassing Mabushi, Jahi, and Kado Districts.
He visited the area known as ‘Road N12’ in Mabushi District and considered the colony a security threat to the city.
The colony, inhabited by scavengers known as ‘Baban Bola,’ as well as mechanics and furniture makers, was cleared under the minister’s orders.
He emphasized the government’s commitment to removing criminal elements from the city and warned against planting trees in areas designated for development.
As the culinary minister continues to surprise Nigerians with his cooking skills, it remains to be seen how his approach to governance and his kitchen prowess will shape public opinion.
