Nurse’s Mother Defends Daughter’s Innocence in Mohbad’s Case

Nurse’s Mother Defends Daughter’s Innocence in Mohbad’s Case

A Mother’s Defense

The mother of the nurse involved in the injection administered to the late singer, Ilerioluwa Aloba, popularly known as Mohbad, has spoken out in defense of her daughter, Feyisayo Ogedengbe.

She adamantly claims that Ogedengbe is a professional nurse and is innocent of the allegations surrounding the singer’s tragic death.

Denying Rumors

Contrary to the rumors circulating that her daughter is an unqualified or auxiliary nurse responsible for Mohbad’s demise, Ogedengbe’s mother insists that her daughter is a qualified professional nurse who has never made work-related errors.

A Lengthy Custody

The nurse’s mother revealed that her daughter has been in police custody for 23 days, and the delay in the autopsy of the late singer has only added to their distress.

Account of the Incident

Providing her own account of the events leading up to Mohbad’s passing, Mrs. Ogedengbe explained that her daughter had no prior interaction with the singer.

On the day of the incident, Mohbad’s associate, known as “Spending,” contacted her daughter to attend to the singer’s hand injury.

According to her recollection, several individuals, including Mohbad’s wife, Omowunmi’s younger brother, personal assistant, and friend “Spending,” were present to oversee the injection given to the late singer.

A Mother’s Defense

Mrs. Ogedengbe firmly stands by her daughter’s innocence, asserting that the injection administered by her daughter could not have caused Mohbad’s death.

She emphasizes that her daughter is a proficient professional in her field, with a flawless track record of practice.

She stated, “Feyisayo Ogedengbe is my first child. She learned nursing for three years in a private hospital, and she worked for a year with her boss without any issues.

She isn’t troublesome at all. She doesn’t know Mohbad. It was Spending that called Feyisayo to treat Mohbad, and she said his wife, friend, and his sibling were there when he was being treated.

The injections she gave Mohbad couldn’t have killed him. Feyisayo has never met Mohbad before; it was Spending that referred him to her.”

A Plea for Justice

The nurse’s mother passionately appeals for her daughter’s release, asserting her innocence and contending that her daughter has been unfairly framed as the primary suspect in the case.
