A mother’s heartbreaking 999 call has shed light on the tragic events that led to the death of her seven-year-old son, Louis Linse.

Papaipit Linse, 43, admitted to strangling her son with the strap of a handbag while suffering from paranoid schizophrenia.

This shocking act occurred on January 10, as Linse believed she was under the control of a “robot” making her commit the crime.

She revealed her deep distress in the call, telling the operator she couldn’t even bring herself to check if Louis was still breathing.

A Struggle with Mental Illness

Linse’s mental health had deteriorated over time, largely as a result of an abusive marriage.

She was diagnosed with paranoid schizophrenia, a condition that distorted her perception of reality and fueled her paranoia.

Prior to the tragic event, Linse’s babysitter had raised concerns with social services about the safety of Louis due to Linse’s increasingly erratic behavior.

Despite these warnings, no immediate action was taken.
