Legal Action Against Naira Marley and Sam Larry
In a recent legal development, a Magistrate Court situated in the Yaba area of Lagos State has issued an order for the remand of popular singer Azeez Fashola, widely known as Naira Marley, and Lagos socialite Balogun Eletu, alias Sam Larry, in police custody.
The court’s decision follows an application by the Lagos State Police Command, requesting the remand of both individuals for 30 days while they conduct further investigations into the controversial death of singer Ilerioluwa Aloba, also known as Mohbad.
Upon considering the application presented by the Lagos State Police Command, Magistrate Adeola Olatunbosun delivered a ruling regarding the remand of Naira Marley and Sam Larry.
Contrary to the requested 30 days of remand, the magistrate ordered that both men be remanded in police custody for a duration of 21 days.
