The 65-year-old television personality arrived at the star-studded charity event wearing an off-the-shoulder, bodycon dress covered in sequins, accentuating her hourglass figure.

Vorderman completed her look with towering heels and a simple silver necklace, keeping her accessories minimal.

She styled her newly darkened hair in voluminous curls as she posed for photographs at the event.

The ceremony took place at the Grosvenor House Hotel in London, where Vorderman co-hosted the annual awards alongside Ashley Banjo, 38, the Diversity star.

Pride of Britain Awards Celebrate Everyday Heroes

The annual Pride of Britain Awards recognises ordinary people across the country for their extraordinary contributions and achievements.

The winners had already been decided ahead of the ceremony.

Although the event took place on Monday night, the televised programme is scheduled to air on Thursday at 8pm, allowing viewers to watch the ceremony and its celebrations.

Television Presenter Recalls Hospitalisation After Fall

Vorderman’s red carpet appearance comes after she revealed that she had been rushed to hospital by ambulance following a fall earlier in the year.

In an Instagram video, the presenter explained that the incident happened towards the end of May when she tripped over a tree root on a public footpath outside her home.

She fell onto a tarmac path and lost consciousness.

Vorderman said she could not remember the moments immediately after the fall but recalled being taken by ambulance to Bristol Royal Infirmary (BRI).

She also shared an unusual detail about the journey, revealing that the song The Final Countdown was playing in the ambulance.

Concussion Symptoms Led to Further Hospital Treatment

According to Vorderman, she was initially discharged from hospital the following day but subsequently experienced severe vomiting, which prompted her to return for further treatment.

She said medical staff at the accident and emergency department carried out CT scans and other examinations before discharging her again.

The fall also left her with a prominent black eye and bruising across her face that lasted for three to four weeks.

Vorderman explained that she began experiencing dizziness approximately two to three weeks later.

She described the sensation as feeling as though she were walking on a moving ship, sometimes knocking into walls.

Carol Credits Epley Technique for Improving Dizziness

The presenter, who appeared on I’m A Celebrity… Get Me Out of Here!, said she later discovered that her symptoms were associated with benign paroxysmal positional vertigo (BPPV), a condition involving the inner ear.

She credited a physiotherapist named Sophie with introducing her to the Epley manoeuvre, a technique used to help treat certain cases of BPPV by repositioning displaced particles in the inner ear.

Vorderman said she completed three sessions with Sophie and had since been discharged from the service, adding that she was delighted with the outcome.

She also made clear that she was sharing her personal experience rather than offering medical advice to others.

Vorderman Opens Up About Plans for a Facelift

Separately, Vorderman has spoken about her intention to undergo a facelift within the next couple of years.

The presenter has previously faced criticism over her use of Botox and other cosmetic treatments to maintain her appearance.

However, she has defended her decisions and said she has no issue with pursuing further surgery.

Speaking to the Daily Mail’s Richard Eden, Vorderman acknowledged that she did not look as she had in her forties but said she did not believe she looked bad for her age.

She confirmed that she uses Botox and other treatments and expects to have a facelift in the coming years.

Vorderman also dismissed criticism of her choices, stating that she had earned her money and intended to spend it as she wished.

She added that accepting herself and wanting to maintain her appearance were not mutually exclusive.
