Mike Ashley leaves his retail empire: Sports Direct founder quits Frasers

Mike Ashley will resign as director of the group responsible for the mega-retail brands Sports Direct and House of Fraser.

Tuesday, Frasers Group announced that Mike Ashley will not seek re-election as a director at the company’s annual general meeting (AGM) and will thus resign from the board upon the end of the AGM on October 19.

Additionally, Frasers Group owns Game, Evans Cycles, and Jack Wills.
