Meghan Markle has offered another glimpse into her family’s life in the English countryside, sharing a video of Prince Archie and Princess Lilibet encountering a herd of deer during a scooter ride.

The Duchess of Sussex, 45, posted the 20-second clip on Instagram on Sunday, showing her children travelling along a quiet country lane with the family’s black Labrador, Pula.

Archie, seven, and Lilibet, five, were wearing matching blue and pink backpacks when the animals suddenly raced across their path just metres ahead. The children stopped to watch the unexpected spectacle, while Pula bounded alongside Meghan as she approached them.

The Temptations’ song I Got Sunshine played in the background of the video, which offered a glimpse of the family’s outdoor activities following their reported move back to Britain.

Sussex Children Settle Into New Life in the Cotswolds

Prince Harry and Meghan are reported to have moved to the Cotswolds in September, six years after stepping away from their roles as senior working royals and establishing a life in the United States.

The family are said to have received a warm reception from their new neighbours as they adjust to their surroundings.

Archie and Lilibet are also reported to have settled into a new school in the Midlands after an earlier school arrangement proved difficult because of traffic during the school run.

Despite their relocation, the Sussexes are expected to retain their mansion in Montecito, California, as well as a holiday property in Portugal.

Meghan has increasingly shared glimpses of the children’s experiences in the British countryside, particularly their outdoor adventures during autumn.

Meghan Previously Shared Videos of Archie and Lilibet Enjoying Autumn

Sunday’s footage follows another family montage Meghan posted last month, featuring the children exploring the countryside and enjoying the changing season.

In the earlier video, Archie and Lilibet were seen splashing through a puddle before warming their bare feet beside an open fire.

Lilibet also appeared riding a pink bicycle decorated with tassels, with a doll placed in its seat, as she travelled along a track towards deer in a nearby park.

Another scene showed the family enjoying time in a rowboat on a lake, while Pula played along the bank.

The repeated glimpses of outdoor family life have provided followers with a picture of how the children are spending time in their new surroundings.

Prince Harry Appears in Family Photos Shared by Meghan

Meghan has also published family photographs to mark Prince Harry’s 42nd birthday, offering a look at the duke spending time with his children.

One image showed Harry kissing Lilibet, while another captured him carrying her bicycle.

In a separate photograph, Harry was seen driving a quad bike along a track with Archie and Lilibet seated behind him. The children sat on either side of a Marks and Spencer bag as Pula followed the vehicle.

The images added to Meghan’s recent collection of family moments, which have included outdoor activities and informal scenes away from official engagements.

Meghan and Harry Spotted at Oxfordshire Pub

The couple have also been seen spending time together in public since their reported return to Britain.

Last week, Harry and Meghan were spotted having lunch at The Falkland Arms in Oxfordshire. The pub is around two miles from Soho Farmhouse and is near a property owned by David and Victoria Beckham.

Meghan was also reported to have enjoyed lunch last month with television personality Ellen DeGeneres and her wife, Portia de Rossi, at The Three Horseshoes in nearby Asthall.

The Sussexes have not yet reportedly met King Charles in person since returning to the UK. The monarch spent the summer at Balmoral in Scotland, although Harry is understood to have remained in telephone contact with his father.

Sussexes Prepare for First Joint Public Appearance in Britain

Harry and Meghan are expected to make their first joint public appearance since relocating to Britain during a visit to Nottingham on Thursday.

Their itinerary is due to include visits to three organisations working in community support, food assistance and youth development.

The couple are expected to visit the Community Recording Studio, where Meghan is anticipated to participate in an acting workshop. They will also visit the Himmah food bank alongside representatives of the Hubb Community Kitchen and Epic Partners, an organisation that provides sports mentoring for children aged four to 18.

The engagements will mark a return to joint public activity in Britain as the family continues to adjust to its reported new home.

Meghan Announces Malala Fund Donation Through As Ever Brand

Alongside her family and public engagements, Meghan continues to develop her lifestyle brand, As Ever.

On Sunday, the brand announced that 100 per cent of net profits from its teas and jams would be donated to the Malala Fund for the duration of International Day of the Girl.

The collaboration with Nobel Peace Prize winner Malala Yousafzai was announced after the pair were photographed leaving Claridge’s in London last Wednesday.

They had reportedly dined in the hotel’s Foyer and Reading Room, where afternoon tea costs £95 per person, before being photographed sharing a warm embrace.

The meeting was believed to be Meghan’s first public appearance in the British capital since Queen Elizabeth II’s funeral in September 2022.

Harry Reportedly Booed at Rugby Match Amid Security Debate

Harry’s return to Britain has also attracted attention for reasons beyond the family’s relocation and charitable activities.

The duke was reportedly booed while watching the Premiership rugby match between Leicester Tigers and Gloucester on Friday night. Television commentator Nick Mullins reacted to the crowd’s response by remarking, “Well, that wasn’t overly welcoming, was it?”

Harry watched the match alongside his cousin George McCorquodale and Leicester Tigers chief executive Andrea Pinchen. A keen rugby supporter, he served as patron of the Rugby Football Union from 2016 until 2021.

The reported incident comes as the Sussexes continue seeking a resolution to the dispute over their police protection in Britain. The couple previously mounted an unsuccessful legal challenge concerning Harry’s security arrangements during visits from the United States.

The committee responsible for royal and VIP security, known as Ravec, is understood to be reconsidering the level of police protection available to the family following their reported move to Britain.

Sussexes Balance Family Life With Public and Charitable Commitments

The latest video of Archie and Lilibet encountering the deer has offered a personal glimpse into the family’s reported transition to life in the English countryside.

At the same time, Harry and Meghan are preparing for public engagements, maintaining charitable commitments and navigating unresolved questions surrounding security and their relationship with the wider Royal Family.

Their long-term arrangements remain a subject of public interest, particularly as they continue to maintain connections to both Britain and the United States.
