Matthew Perry wanted to settle down and start a family before his tragic death
In a last interview before his death, Matthew Perry opened up about his desire to settle down and start a family.
The Friends star told People that he thought he would be a great father and that he couldn’t wait to have children. He also discussed his past relationships and admitted that they would often end because he was afraid.
However, Perry said that he had overcome his fear and was ready to find a partner who he could love and not be afraid of.

Sadly, Perry never had the chance to start a family. He died just a year after the interview was published.
His death came as a shock to many as it was publicly known that after many years struggling with drug and alcohol issues, Perry was back on track.
Friends creator Marta Kauffman recently revealed that during her last conversation with the star just two weeks before his passing, Perry “was in a really good place.“
Perry’s death is a reminder that life is precious and that we should cherish every moment we have with our loved ones.
