Buscemi was reportedly punched in the face by Williams while walking along Third Avenue near East 27th Street in Kips Bay.

As authorities intensify efforts to locate Clifton Williams, who fled the scene following the attack, the NYPD has released a surveillance image of the suspect.

Williams, described as wearing a dark baseball hat, blue T-shirt, black pants, and white sneakers, remains at large as the investigation continues.

Buscemi Hospitalized; First Lady Jill Biden Offers Support

Following the assault, Steve Buscemi was transported to Bellevue Hospital for treatment of injuries, including bruising, swelling, and bleeding to his left eye.

In a show of support, First Lady Jill Biden visited Buscemi at the hospital, offering comfort to the acclaimed actor and his traumatized family.

This incident is not the first time Buscemi has faced violence. In 2001, during the filming of “Domestic Disturbance” in Wilmington, NC, the actor intervened in a bar brawl and was stabbed multiple times.
