Man arrested after fatally stabbing wife in Ballard

A man was taken into custody late on Thursday night by Seattle police after he fatally stabbed his wife inside of an apartment building in the Ballard neighborhood.

Officers responded to the 7000 block of 15th Avenue Northwest shortly before 10 o’clock in the evening after receiving a call of an attack that involved domestic violence.

Officers arrived to find a deceased woman at the scene, and shortly thereafter, they apprehended the man who was the victim’s husband.

The investigation is still on with detectives.
