Paddy Power Games Study Identifies Ruchee Gurung and Tyrique Hyde as Promising Candidates

New research examining the lineup for Love Island series 10 suggests that Ruchee Gurung and Tyrique Hyde have the highest chances of winning this year’s crown.

However, the study by Paddy Power Games also highlights that previous seasons have often defied expectations, making it unclear who will ultimately take home the prize.

The research delves into the characteristics and behaviors of past Love Island winners, identifying Ruchee and Tyrique as closely matching the profile of typical male and female winners—on paper, at least.

The analysis conducted by the Irish gaming brand takes various variables into account, including the average age and profession of previous winners, as well as the number of partners and betrayals in Casa Amor.

Based on the research, 24-year-old Ruchee emerges as the frontrunner among female contestants, given her age, profession as a beautician, and brunette hair—making her an almost perfect match.

Meanwhile, Tyrique Hyde closely aligns with the characteristics of a typical male winner.

The semi-professional footballer from Essex shares traits that closely resemble those of previous Love Island champions.

However, the study also emphasizes that success on Love Island depends on factors such as the timing of contestants’ arrival in the villa and their actions during their time on the show.

On average, both male and female winners have entered as bombshells in week two, suggesting that late arrivals have a better chance of claiming the £50,000 prize.

Nevertheless, with Ruchee and Tyrique exhibiting most of the “winning” characteristics, hopeful islanders should still consider pursuing a connection with them.

Historical data reveals interesting trends. In previous seasons, male islanders who stuck with their initial partner tended to perform well, but Kai Fagan broke that pattern by winning after coupling with five different women.

As a result, the average number of villa partners for male winners has increased to two.

Similarly, the data suggests that female contestants should consider exploring other options after their initial pairing.

However, participating in the Casa Amor recoupling has not been a winning strategy for contestants.

Only three out of the past 18 winners, including Kem Cetinay, Amber Gill, and Kai Fagan, emerged victorious after switching partners during this challenging relationship test.

A spokesperson from Paddy Power Games commented, “Analyzing past seasons, we can observe certain patterns among the winning pool, with Tyrique Hyde and Ruchee Gurung closely aligning with these traits.

Although the research indicates that joining in week one may slightly disadvantage them, their characteristics make them strong contenders for the win. Therefore, I’ll be placing my bets on Ruchee and Tyrique.”
