Lilly Becker, the former wife of tennis champion Boris Becker, has confirmed that she has ended her four-year relationship with German sports manager Thorsten Weck and returned to London with her 16-year-old son, Amadeus.
The Dutch model, 50, revealed the changes in her personal life during an interview with the Daily Mail at the Peruvian Connection fashion show in London on Wednesday.
Lilly said she was no longer actively seeking a relationship and was enjoying being single.
“I’m done. If it happens, it happens. But I have no luck with British men, so I don’t think it’s going to happen,” she said.
She also ruled out using dating applications, explaining that she preferred meeting potential partners in person.
“I keep it old school,” she said.
Model Says She Is Enjoying Life Without a Partner
Lilly said she was comfortable living without a romantic partner and was not concerned about whether men approached her.
“They don’t approach me. But I’m not looking. Nobody’s in my bed, nobody snores. I like it,” she said.
Her relationship with Weck, 57, began in 2022. The German sports manager was previously described in the media as resembling Boris Becker because of his square jawline and strawberry-blond hair.
Although German media had recently speculated that the couple had separated, Lilly had not publicly confirmed the breakup until her latest interview.
Lilly Returns to London After Leaving Over Living Costs
Lilly moved to Düsseldorf, Germany, with Amadeus last summer after saying she could no longer afford to maintain her lifestyle in London as a single mother.
At the time, she explained that she wanted to preserve the standard of living she and her son were accustomed to, but believed Germany offered better opportunities.
Weck was also living in Düsseldorf, although Lilly previously clarified that they did not share a home.
She has now returned to Wimbledon in south-west London, where she lived for years after Amadeus was born.
Despite the financial challenges that prompted her departure, Lilly said she had no intention of leaving London again.
“You can’t beat London. It’s expensive, but look what we have. We have Hyde Park, the Premier League, we’ve got Winter Wonderland, there’s always a band in Camden, there’s Ronnie Scott’s,” she said.
“I will never ever complain about London again as long as I live. I’ll die here. That’s it. I’m done.”
Child Maintenance Dispute With Boris Becker Continues
Lilly’s return to London comes amid an ongoing dispute with her former husband over child maintenance payments.
In May, it was reported that the pair were involved in a legal dispute over claims that Boris owed her hundreds of thousands of pounds in unpaid support for their son.
The former Wimbledon champion, 58, and Lilly separated in 2018. Their son, Amadeus Benedict Edley Luis Becker, was born in 2010.
A London court order required Boris to pay £8,000 a month in child maintenance. He had previously covered the cost of Amadeus’s schooling in London.
However, Lilly’s lawyers alleged earlier this year that he had failed to make essential maintenance payments, resulting in a six-figure debt. Lilly said the payments stopped in 2022, after Boris served eight months in prison for bankruptcy-related offences.
Boris had been sentenced to two and a half years in prison after concealing £2.5 million in assets to avoid paying debts. He was released early under a fast-track deportation scheme.
He later claimed he no longer had debts, a statement Lilly described as “a slap in the face”. She added: “It hurts me when a father doesn’t take care of his son.”
Boris resumed payments in 2025, including a five-figure payment in July that year, but the former couple remain in dispute over the amount still owed.
Boris Becker Has Remarried and Welcomed Another Child
While Lilly is focusing on her new chapter, Boris has since married political risk analyst Lilian de Carvalho Monteiro, 36.
The couple married in 2024 and welcomed their daughter, Zoe, in November 2025.
Lilly and Boris’s separation followed eight years of marriage, with their relationship ending in 2018.
Lilly Says Turning 50 Has Brought a New Outlook
Lilly also spoke about ageing and life after menopause, saying she felt positive about entering her 50s.
“I’m not old. I am a mature young woman,” she said. “The 50s are not what they used to be. We’re not grannies. It’s like a revamp, right? Look at Jennifer Lopez!”
She said she was a year beyond menopause and was adjusting to life with a teenage son, but did not feel that the changes had diminished her enthusiasm for life.
“My spirit is very much alive, and I don’t want to compete with the 20-, 30-year-olds at all. I’m living my life,” she added.
Lilly won Germany’s version of I’m a Celebrity…Get Me Out of Here! last year and appeared on the cover of Playboy in Germany during the same year.
Model Plans to Continue Working and Launch New Business
Lilly, who walked in Wednesday’s Peruvian Connection fashion show at St John’s Church in west London, said she was keen to continue modelling. She also named fashion brand Alaïa as one she would like to work with.
She acknowledged that she regularly undergoes cosmetic treatments, including laser procedures and Botox, but said she did not intend to have a facelift.
“Of course, I will forever do a little bit of tweaking,” she said. “I will look after myself with lasers, I’m not ashamed to say I love a little bit of Botox.”
She added that she wanted to grow older naturally, keeping her grey hair and wrinkles rather than undergoing more extensive cosmetic surgery.
Lilly is also launching a business called Her Next Move, which she described as focusing on networking, lifestyle and travel.
She said the idea developed after she returned to Britain and friends encouraged her to pursue it.
Reflecting on the changes in her life, Lilly said she had spent years raising her son through childhood and school before deciding to focus more on herself.
“I’ve struggled enough. I’ve been the young mum, I’ve had the toddler, I’ve done the school gates. Now I’m doing me,” she said.
