A Liberal MP may face a Facebook ban after hackers shared ‘very graphic’ links to pornography on her profile.

On July 1, Georgie Crozier, Victoria’s shadow health minister, posted the graphic video to her profile.

She told 3AW on Tuesday, “I had extremely graphic pornography photographs posted, which obviously Facebook don’t take too lightly too.”

After her credit card information was stolen and her Instagram, Facebook, and WhatsApp accounts were all shut down, Ms. Crozier claimed she also lost $1,800.

Her colleague David Southwick was also targeted and while his social media accounts weren’t promoting porn, he did have them disappear entirely. The explicit footage was shared to the profile of Victoria's shadow health minister Georgie Crozier on July 1

‘My MP page was hacked again yesterday,’ Ms. Crozier said, adding she was ‘threatening a life ban’ from Facebook over the initial sexual posts.

The shadow health minister said she’d spoken to police but was hoping the attacks on her and Mr. Southwick were ‘random’.

‘I didn’t see (the pornography), my staff did and they said it was very graphic,’ Ms. Crozier added.

‘It is disturbing and its identity theft. People have to be ultra-cautious with their passwords.’

Ms. Crozier’s most recent hacking was a post that appeared to show her promoting a weight loss program.

‘Only one month, my change has amazed everyone,’ the fake post read.

‘The Neighbours keep asking me how I did it. I can eat whatever I like and never have to go to the gym.’

Her Instagram account remains shut down while the dodgy posts have been removed.

‘I would hope it’s not politically driven. I would hope it’s just random but it is curious that both David and I were targeted,’ she said.

‘I think it’s a coincidence.’

Mr. Southwick had his Facebook vanish for a week from July 3, after he and his team had done a social media campaign around healthcare.

‘It’s odd. Her (Ms. Grozier) and I are vocal and out there on social media, and we’re the two whose pages magically disappear within two days of each other. It is very Suss,’ he told The Herald Sun.

‘It’s a low blow. I know politics is seen as a competitive sport, but this is not the way anyone should behave.

‘If this has been intentional from another political operative, there should absolutely be consequences because it’s appalling behavior.’
