A documentary capturing Oasis’ long-awaited reunion is set to receive its world premiere at the prestigious Venice Film Festival, marking another major milestone in the band’s highly anticipated comeback.
The film, titled Don’t Look Back In Anger, chronicles the group’s reunion tour and is expected to bring both Liam and Noel Gallagher together on the red carpet for the special screening.
Gallagher Brothers Expected to Attend Premiere
According to sources close to the production, both Gallagher brothers are planning to appear at the Venice premiere alongside filmmaker Steven Knight, the acclaimed creator of Peaky Blinders.
Following its international debut, the documentary is expected to head to London for another premiere before arriving in cinemas on September 11.
Fans will also be able to stream the film on Disney+ later in the year.

The announcement came as organisers revealed the official lineup for the 83rd Venice Film Festival.
Artistic director Alberto Barbera introduced this year’s selection during an event at the Biennale Library in Venice, confirming that the Oasis documentary would feature among the festival’s high-profile premieres.
The festival itself is scheduled to run from September 2 to September 12, 2026, at the Venice Lido.
Trailer Offers Glimpse Into Emotional Reunion
Excitement surrounding the documentary intensified after the release of its first trailer on July 4, exactly one year after the Oasis Live ’25 tour began in Cardiff.
The preview follows Liam and Noel as they reunite for rehearsals after spending 16 years apart following their infamous backstage fallout.
In one emotional moment, Noel admits he once believed sharing a stage with his brother again was impossible, while Liam reflects on the way the band’s original split unfolded, describing its ending as unacceptable.
Behind-the-Scenes Access to Historic Tour
The documentary promises to give audiences unprecedented access to one of the biggest music stories of recent years.
Viewers will see previously unseen rehearsal footage, backstage moments and candid conversations throughout the Oasis Live ’25 tour.
The production also features the first joint interviews with Liam and Noel in more than two decades, offering fresh insight into their relationship and the band’s reunion.

Director Steven Knight said the project aims to capture more than just a successful concert tour.

Knight added that the story also belongs to Oasis supporters whose lives have been shaped by the band’s music over the years, making the film as much about the fans as the musicians themselves.
More Oasis Performances Could Be on the Horizon
Although no official announcement has been made, speculation continues to grow over the possibility of further Oasis concerts in 2027.
Industry rumours have suggested the band could stage an extended residency at Manchester City’s Etihad Stadium during May and June, while additional performances at Knebworth have also been discussed.
For now, however, attention remains firmly focused on the documentary’s festival debut, which is expected to be one of the standout musical events of this year’s Venice Film Festival.
