Las Vegas Strip stabbing suspect has been arrested

On Thursday morning, a stabbing incident along the Las Vegas Strip left two people dead and six more wounded.

According to authorities, a suspect has been apprehended.

In a news conference held on Thursday afternoon, Las Vegas Metropolitan Police Captain Dori Koren said that three of the victims were in serious condition. According to Koren, the other victims “looked to be stable.”

According to Koren, police removed a “large kitchen knife” from the scene.

The stabbings started at 11:40 a.m. local time, and the perpetrator was apprehended “immediately,” according to Koren.

A motivation and the identity of the suspect were not immediately disclosed.

At roughly 1:50 p.m. local time, police said that the site had been secured and that they would be releasing further details later in the day. According to Koren, a section of Las Vegas Boulevard remained blocked so that police could keep gathering evidence.
