During the previous season, Cole Alexander faced challenges with injuries and had limited opportunities under former coach Arthur Zwane at Kaizer Chiefs.

His next destination is expected to be determined within the next few days.

According to reports from SABC Sport, Cole Alexander has become a free agent after reaching an agreement to leave Kaizer Chiefs, despite having one year remaining on his contract with the club.

Furthermore, there have been reports suggesting that due to his injury-prone nature and limited appearances in the previous season, Cole Alexander was not part of Kaizer Chiefs’ plans for the upcoming DStv Premiership season.

With the recent announcement of Arthur Zwane being demoted to the assistant coaching role and Molefi Ntseki taking charge as head coach, Kaizer Chiefs is expected to make further changes to its playing personnel.

As for Kaizer Chiefs’ recent signings, the Soweto giants have acquired promising players such as Given Msimango, Thatayaone Ditlhokwe, and Mduduzi Mdantsane.
