Mamelodi Sundowns head coach Rulani Mokwena has confirmed that the club and Gaston Sirino have made peace.

Sirino returned to action for the first time this season in Sundowns’ Carling Knockout Cup match against TS Galaxy, scoring a late goal to force the game into extra-time. However, Sundowns went on to lose 5-4 on penalties.

Mokwena said that he accepted Sirino’s apology after the Uruguayan reportedly requested to leave the club before the transfer deadline last month.
