Political Opportunists Trying to Hijack NNPP Sent Assassins to Eliminate Me, Says Agbo

The factional chairman of the New Nigeria Peoples Party (NNPP), Major Agbo, has claimed that there is a plot to assassinate him.

He alleged that political opportunists trying to hijack the party’s leadership sent assassins to eliminate him in his office on Monday.

Agbo said he was able to escape because the armed men could not identify him when they invaded the secretariat of the party faction.

He added that he has been receiving death threats through WhatsApp voice calls telling him he would pay with his life for standing on the way in their quest to take the party from its founder and its mother organisation – NAGAFF (National Association of Government Approved Freight Forwarders).
